Atlanta-based and Lake Oconee based certified personal trainer, fitness nutrition specialist, and best-selling author Brad Kolowich Jr has more than 18 years of experience in the fitness industry. As a native of Atlanta, Brad spent his early years at Holy Innocents Episcopal School while also traveling the country to earn state, sectional and national rankings, earning honors as one of the top-ranked junior tennis players in the country. He then moved on to play Division I varsity tennis for the Seminoles of Florida State University (FSU) and later graduated from the University of Georgia. Brad holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia (UGA) as well as certifications from some of the most honored organizations, including the nationally accredited American Council on Exercise (A.C.E.), the American Red Cross (CPR/AED), and the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) as a tennis teaching professional. In addition, Brad has furthered his education with a Specialist in Longevity and Anti-Aging as well as Lifestyle and Weight Management course through the American Council on Exercise.
Brad’s current daily clientele comes from all over the world, some traveling for hours daily to their multiple weekly sessions for his knowledge and expertise in the areas of weight loss, leaning and toning, muscle growth, core development, cardiovascular conditioning, nutritional design, injury prevention, flexibility, sports-specific training, and motivation. Brad has dedicated his career to staying on top of the latest research and developments in the fitness and anti-aging industries, ensuring that his clients are provided with only the very best in exercise programs, workout techniques, and nutritional program design.
In addition to tennis, Brad’s athletic background also includes success in soccer, swimming, basketball, and baseball. He enjoys filling his free time participating in these sports as well as being adventurous and active outdoors. Some of Brad’s favorite pastimes are wake surfing, whitewater rafting, wake boarding, kayaking, snowboarding, enjoying new restaurants, world travel, hanging with his family and friends, and spending time with his wife Mandy, their sons Bray and Callan, and their labradoodles, Rocky and Berkeley
Brad is a regular contributor to national television programs and has been recently seen on CNN’s HLN, the Weather Channel, CBS’s “Better Mornings Show,” and FOX 5′s “Good Day Atlanta.”
